Dear Joseph,
I think you give
an honest opinion of how you see things while wishing us all the best. We do
not appreciate critique, because we are not confident nation. At sports we dare
to lift our flag – other than that.. well.. we would much more like to bury it
(generally speaking ). We are split as we are foolish to individually believe for
ourselves that we are “neutral”. Seriously though, everyone here is “neutral”
and “against any form of evil”. Whatever one’s vision of evil is.
So let me thank
you by showing you that I did understood the message you were trying to give.
I am not neutral. More
than any other thing, I believe Slovenian right wing has many more answers to
the current state in the country as it has the ability to deliver solutions. So
instead of stressing and laughing with your criticisms pointed to the leftists,
I’ll try to thank you for the criticism I think you once pointed to the rightists.
There was one
thing that you said that caught my attention. It was something like: “not all
Americans were for independence, but we are all Americans now.” Thank you for
that – because I know, while the truth is important, it has nothing to do with
the fact that we are all Slovenians now. We have to start the journey instead of
over and over again trying to close one that should have been closed for years. That
doesn't mean that I buy lefty media “leave our history alone” shit or blame the rightists. It just
means that I believe it should not be an argument in discussion of what we want to achieve as a nation (i.e. "who are you to speak, you were against Slovenian independence").
Thank you for all the good work here and wishing you all the best on your new journey!

Good point, and I am also positioned as the author.
